A branded-entertainment piece I conceived, produced, and directed as a promo for PresidentialHistory.com.
The concept is to bring modern news reporting to moments in presidential history, making those stories accessible and fun. This meant writing a script that would imitate the style of a modern news report, maintain a fast enough pace to hold attention online, and remain faithful to the historical facts.
It also involved creating all the elements of a news show, complete with a full virtual set and an on-location segment. Most of the show was shot against green screen and composited into the virtual set created in Maya (with matchmoving in PFTrack).
